JOHN HEBERT (b) was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He studied 1990-92 at Loyola University in New Orleans with Bill Huntington. 

During this time he performed with Tony Dagradi, Steve Masakowski, Michael Pellera, David Torkanowski und John Vidocovich. In 1992 John moved to the New York City area, transferring to William Paterson University in New Jersey where he graduated with a B.M. in Jazz Performance. During this time he studied with Rufus Reid, Steve Wilson, Todd Coolman, and Steve Turre. After graduating, John moved to New York City where he has since become a highly in demand bassist. 

He has worked along side such respected New York jazz musicians as Dave Ballou, Tim Berne, Roy Campbell, Rich Perry, John O’Gallagher, Jeff Williams, Maria Schneider, Kenny Wheeler, Andrew Hill, Greg Osby, Gary Thomas, Jeannie Bryson, John Abercrombie, Garry Dial, Lynne Arriale, Uri Caine, Rick Margitza, Tony Malaby, Brian Blade, Billy Hart, Kenny Garrett, Matt Wilson, Tom Rainey und Jeff Hirshfield. John also co-leads two projects. The first group, "Change of Time", with pianist Russ Lossing and saxophonist Adam Kolker, explores the music of Bela Bartok. 

The second group is a piano trio with German pianist Juergen Friedrich and drummer Tony Moreno performing mostly original compositions. John continues to tour throughout Europe and the United States and has also been building a respected dicography. TONY MORENO (dr) New-York-based drummer Tony Moreno is simply one of the most sought after musicians of his profession. He tours all around the world and teaches at New York University Jazz Program.
